SNAP Workshop is created for empowering nurses to become confident in managing Pediatric emergencies. Participants have the opportunity to learn from experts in a safe simulated environment. SNAP is a part of SIMULUS-8 conference at AIIMS Kalyani.

This competition challenges the clinical inter-disciplinary healthcare teams to compete against each other in exciting patient simulation scenarios of Pediatric and Neonatal emergency.
Who can participate?
One Team = 4 members
Minimum 2 Doctors (Includes Post graduate trainees) Other 2 members= Nurses/
Paramedics/ Doctors-PG/ Post PG/ Fellows/ Post Fellowship
All physicians/ residents should have less than 7 years (Post MD / DNB / equivalent degree experience)
There is no experience limit for the nurses/ paramedics
All members need not be from the same organization. Region specific grouping, of team members from different hospitals is encouraged.
Only first 8 teams will be selected
How to conquer the SIMWARS?
Each team will have to skillfully manage simulation scenarios in Pediatric and Neonatal Emergencies. A panel of experts will choose a winning team based on clinical assessment and decision making, communication skills and team work.
FDP will be conducted by international and national experts in simulation. Level 1 certification will be provided. For those who wish to pursue further in this field, a senior mentor would be provided to complete level 2 & 3 certification over one year. After completion of level 3 training, candidates will be able to design curriculum, conduct scenarios, debrief multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
